About Hastelloy B2
Hastelloy is a Ni type corrosion resistant alloy that is a registered trademark of Haynes International, Inc.
It is also specified by various standards such as JIS and ASTM, and is divided into Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C and the like depending on the added element.
Hastelloy B2 is an alloy made up of Mo and others, and is a Ni-Mo type corrosion resistant alloy for hydrochloric acid.
Characteristics
- Corrosion resistance that is excellent for hydrochloric acid in a wide range of concentrations and temperatures.
- Corrosion resistance that is also excellent for sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and acetic acid.
